carey invites hello church into the conversation to speak church growth strategy, execution ideas and tangible results in a digital age

“Churches don’t have a growth problem — they have a follow-up problem. When churches implement consistent digital follow-up, we regularly see first-time guest engagement increase by 40–60% within the first 90 days.”

Wanted to reach out and give you an update on our use of hello church. It’s been incredible! Last week we had 20 RSVP’s.One of those was a guy named Brad who moved to our area due to work. He saw the add and rsvp’d. I had some interaction with him via text leading up to Sunday. Sunday morning comes around and he rolls up and I happened to be out on our patio greeting people for the 2nd service. I meet Brad, we connect and I walk him around the building. After the service he comes to our prayer team, accepts Christ and we baptize him along with 13 others before he leaves. Priceless.Thank you to you and your team!

I wanted to ask you for a favor. Before that though I wanted to thank you and your team for such an amazing work on our behalf. Our attendance has increased literally by 50%+ on an average Sunday since we started using your services last December. Some Sundays it's a 70%+ increase. We realize that it is God at work through such talented people like you and your team. Thank you for everything you do and for putting your gifts and talents in God's hand to expand His Kingdom. You have a key part to play in every child, adult and family we're able to minister to every Sunday so thank you!

We are so grateful for everything you guys have done, and have been recommending you to other churches in the U.K. and Europe! Out of the 55 responses to Jesus since September, 90% have come through hello church. It really has been a game changer for us!

I’m not going to lie—you and your team are truly the best! From start to finish, you walked with me through every step of the way, and I genuinely felt supported the entire time. I’m so grateful for your excellence, care, and commitment. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to your entire team. Y’all are incredible!

I met a Thai businessman who runs a marketing/consulting firm. He responded to one of our ads. We start texting back and forth. The businessman says “I have tried everything in the church world. I can’t believe you texted me when I responded to the ad. We’ve been looking for a church. This is our church. I feel like you’re already my friend, and we haven’t met yet!” When we met up, he joined the launch team, and sent a donation to the church.

I had asked you to pull the ads a few days early because of the significant interactions I saw happening from ads over the previous 10 days. It was amazing. Stuff like:

“I am new to the community and have been looking for a home church for over a year” (many of these)

“I have not been to church since I was a kid, and I need to bring my children and introduce them to God”

“We moved here from ATL over 5 years ago and have so desperately missed 12Stone. We have prayed and prayed for a church like that here, and we NEVER imagined this is how God would answer our prayers.”

So, when people started arriving 15 min before the event, I thought we were in trouble. The flow of people coming in was steady for about 30 minutes and the room was filled to capacity. If 5 more had shown up.

Just a quick update. We had our first guest last week from teh ads (started on Friday) and three this Sunday. Had some really meaningful connections already, and last week’s guest came back with his wife this week. Just wanted to say thanks for what you guys do!

Our church was sitting around 60 or so people weekly before Hello Church and since starting we are consistently at 100-120.

One of my favorite moments was meeting Ace and his family. They moved here about a year ago. His son, Victor, is in my daughter’s grade. Last year I was helping in their 1st grade class and I helped Victor get caught up with the rest of the class on math - his previous school was not at the same place the other kids were. Anyhow, when I saw Victor at the Grocery Store with his mom, I just said hi and introduced myself. Then later when I would see them at the YMCA, I met the whole family and just always said Hi. I was just “there” in my world doing what I think any normal loving Christian ought to do. Then Ace saw my picture on an ad and said to his wife, “THIS IS THE GUY?! This is that guy that always says hi to us. He’s a pastor - we have to go!” So they were there Sunday… he played bass and drums at his last church but hasn’t found a home church since moving here. Says he absolutely loves it and is definitely coming back.

I met a woman named Sara today. She has been in the Mormon faith all her life. She found SOCO through our ads, connected with us via text, fought through fears and came to church. She lost most of her friends and family when leaving the Mormon faith, this past Sunday she served on our PYV team and started helping other people who are new feel welcome and seen the same way she did.
